One of the things I was doing instead of working on important things was seeing UP, which is great! The other thing was making a muppet named Brownsly. I threw him together in around 6 hours using foam, some nasty brown fabric, and lots of glue. I think maybe I should try sewing next time

Eskimos are the only dudes you can make jokes about nowadays but they take all the fun out of it.

I know it is not very good but I am trying! I should be doing a lot more stuff once all this graduation nonsense is done in like a week!

Edit: Looks like I'm going to SCAD.  I figured the longer I spent making the decision the longer I'd regret whatever one I made!  I like the others but I think SCAD is best for me.

Today I am flying out to USC to meet with Tom Sito, a dude who teaches traditional animation there and just so happens to be the art director for Osmosis Jones! I am not sure if it makes up for the rest of the program, but we'll see.

I will come back on the weekend and then fly out for MCAD on Monday I think. You guys probably won't even notice I'm gone, but I will try and get some doodles scanned in when I get back maybe.

I expect to see a good amount of tribute drawings and cookie monsters when I get back, or I will be truly broken hearted.

FIRST when I got up I watched Sesame Street. You will not find a finer show on television, because there is not a finer show on television! Ben Stiller taught me that a cheese is a person in your neighborhood. Sesame street is the only show that tells you the TRUTH about stuff like this.

Then when I got to school I somehow managed to dent the shit out of some chicks car while slowly backing into a space. Then I filed a POLICE REPORT! Then we exchanged insurance and awkward glances! Yeaah mannn farr ouut duuuude

Here is a new comic I am making called "Poop Commando Adventures" that I am starting today, on April first two thousand and nine.





Before you say "GEEZ, Poop Commando, CALM DOWN!" remember that you should give him a break. He was a war hero back in the war between the great Commando wars, and is having a hard time adjusting to working at Dundler Mifflin. Also he is on probation so don't report him or anything!!!!

I have to leave tomorrow morning to go visit colleges.
I think the ones I am visiting this time are SCAD and SVA. DECISIONS ARE HARD.

I was gonna try and get the demo done before I left, but I called my brother for help and he was like "I'm busy" and I was like "You need to grow up."

I watched the Mighty Boosh premiere and enjoyed it! Sometimes I suprise even myself.
And so this post isn't as wasteful as most of my others, another screenshot!




God I probably shouldn't have made a background that I have to hide from you guys. That guy there is named "K***** Dan" and his eyes are not usually like that, but my brother helped me add a zoom effect into the game which kind of makes hilarious screenshots. The identities of the placeholder enemies are of course hidden to protect them from prosecution. The game is very close to a test-level-demo-release! Or maybe not I can never tell really.

Uh hey so I guess I never really went and introduced myself!
My name is Gabe and I am 17. I am graduating from high school soon, and going to college for animation. I admit I am not very good, but I try pretty hard, and I need decide between going to USC or SVA right now. I didn't get into my top college but I will apply again next year I guess. I like video games and try to make bad ones in my free time.



That is a picture drawn of me by me! ...I am not good with computers.
My shoes are Nintendo edition nikes, and they are way sweet. I am wearing plaid shorts over plaid pants because it is dang cold and all of my pants are ripped (including those.)

I came to Livejournal because you guys are way cool and good at art and stuff!  I need to buy a new scanner and tablet, but that aint gonna happen soon seeing as I have to buy new pants first.  When I get the hang of this dang computer box I will make comics.
